News
Igneo Infrastructure Partners establishes cold storage platform with acquisition of Mattingly Cold Storage Igneo Infrastructure Partners, a global infrastructure investment manager, has agreed to acquire Mattingly Cold Storage (MCS), a 275,000 sq ft multi-temperature cold storage facility in Zanesville, Ohio.
The deal marks Igneo's first investment in U.S. cold storage infrastructure and will serve as the foundation for ChillCo Logistics, a new North American cold storage platform led by industry executive Jason Lafferty.
Managing Director Julie Furber cited the fragmented North American cold storage market and strong demand for quality facilities serving regional and mid-sized food producers as key drivers of the investment.
Jason Lafferty said ChillCo aims to partner with owner-operators and pursue disciplined expansion to meet rising demand from food producers, distributors, and retailers. (Igneo Infrastructure Partners)

Cold Chain Technologies pledges net zero emissions by 2050 as pharma logistics decarbonization pressures mount Cold Chain Technologies (CCT) has announced a formal commitment to achieve net zero global emissions by 2050, positioning itself as a critical Scope 3 solutions provider for the pharmaceutical industry.
Scope 3 emissions account for approximately 80% of a pharmaceutical firm's total carbon footprint, making logistics partners essential to meeting broader climate goals.
CCT is submitting specific targets for Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) validation and has already surpassed its internal landfill reduction target, reaching 147 million pounds of waste diverted to date.
CCT's strategy includes digital shipment monitoring, regional sourcing models, and a shift from single-use plastics to recyclable and reusable shippers. (Pharmaceutical Commerce)
