Constellation Cold Logistics agrees to acquire VF Coldstores Constellation Cold Logistics, has announced an agreement to acquire VF Coldstores. This acquisition will enable Constellation to enter the Irish market, expanding its European presence and service offerings. VF Coldstores offers 17,000 pallets of storage capacity in Dublin along with value-added services such as blast freezing, case picking, and transport services. With strong relationships with Irish producers, VF has become a crucial part of the food supply chain in Ireland. The strategic location of VF near the city center and Dublin port, positions the company for future growth. Constellation's acquisition will allow them to continue serving existing VF customers while expanding their client base in Ireland. (link)

Constellation Cold Logistics agrees to acquire Colso Coldstorage Ltd Another Irish acquisition for Constellation Cold. They have announced an agreement to acquire Colso Coldstorage Ltd, a family-run business with expertise in cold storage services, which is recognized for its trusted service across the dairy and meat sectors in South Ireland. With a storage capacity of 24,000 pallets, Colso plays a crucial role in the supply chain of Ireland's leading food producers. The acquisition aligns with Constellation's growth strategy, which includes M&A and expansion projects to support international customer growth. (link)

Lineage Celebrates the Grand Opening of Next-Generation Automated Cold Storage Facility in Collaboration with JBS USA Lineage Logistics, a leading temperature-controlled industrial REIT and solutions provider, recently celebrated the grand opening of its next-generation automated cold storage facility in collaboration with JBS USA. Located in Windsor, Colorado, the facility was built to support the distribution of products to JBS customers. The automated warehousing solutions implemented at the facility utilize cutting-edge technology to improve efficiency, enhance the quality of food products, reduce energy consumption, and minimize food waste. This state-of-the-art facility, spanning approximately 200,000 square feet with over 20,000 pallet positions, represents a significant investment and has created around 70 new jobs. (link)

Valenciaport: reefer connectivity and global connections at the service of refrigerated transport Valenciaport, a major port in Spain, showcased its capabilities in handling frozen and refrigerated traffic at the Cool Logistics Global event held in Genoa. With powerful and agile infrastructures, Valenciaport is equipped to handle the demands of the cold import-export industry. In the 2022 financial year, Valenciaport managed 3 million tonnes of fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, and other refrigerated products. The terminals at Valenciaport have 3,250 reefer connections, including 1,500 by CSP Iberian (Cosco), 750 by APM (Maersk), and 1,000 by MSC Terminal. Valenciaport's connectivity with over 100 regular services to five continents provides access to more markets and a competitive advantage for reefer product companies. (link)
