CubeCold strengthens its position in the European cold storage sector with the acquisition of Sivafrost CubeCold Europe has acquired Belgian market leader Sivafrost, expanding its cold storage network to 19 facilities across Europe, including 7 in Belgium.

Sivafrost brings impressive infrastructure including 11 advanced packaging lines, a COâ‚‚ - neutral automated warehouse, and 29,000 pallet spaces.
The company is known for quality excellence, innovation, and flexible customer service in food storage and co-packaging.
Michael Meyers, Managing Director of CubeCold Benelux, called the acquisition "a true win-win", while Sivafrost's Managing Director Stijn Siongers emphasized that quality, innovation, and customer collaboration remain their success foundations.
CubeCold, with approximately 400,000 pallet spaces across the Benelux, UK, and Italy, plans continued expansion both organically and through acquisitions. (CubeCold)

Cold Chain Technologies acquires Global Cold Chain Solutions, expanding its Asia Pacific presence Cold Chain Technologies (CCT), a leading provider of thermal packaging and digital monitoring solutions for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical products, has acquired Global Cold Chain Solutions (GCCS), a prominent passive cold chain solutions provider with operations primarily in Australia and India.
GCCS specializes in designing and manufacturing high-performance thermal assurance solutions for life sciences applications, utilizing proprietary designs and manufacturing processes.
CCT CEO Ranjeet Banerjee praised GCCS's two decades of market leadership, highlighting its differentiated technologies and product portfolio.
GCCS founder Andrew Meyers expressed excitement about leveraging CCT's expertise and digital capabilities to accelerate global growth.
This acquisition marks CCT's fifth since partnering with Aurora Capital Partners in 2019, continuing its expansion of sustainable packaging solutions, entry into new life sciences verticals, and growth of global manufacturing capabilities. (AJOT)
Source Logistics acquires LaGrou Distribution's warehousing business Source Logistics, a specialist in dry and ambient warehousing and distribution services, has acquired LaGrou Distribution's warehousing business in Northeast Illinois.
This strategic acquisition expands Source Logistics' capabilities to include refrigerated and frozen storage solutions while adding eight new Chicago-area facilities with over 2 million sq ft of warehousing space.
The expansion strengthens Source Logistics' national network to 23 strategic locations with over 5 million total sq ft, enabling same-day reach to more than 75% of the US population.
CEO Raul Villarreal highlighted Chicago's importance as a critical logistics hub for consumer goods and perishables, noting that the acquisition enhances their ability to deliver farm-to-table solutions through strategically positioned facilities near production plants and frozen storage centers. Emergent Cold LatAm opens new cold storage facility in Monterrey, Mexico Emergent Cold LatAm, Latin America's largest temperature-controlled logistics and storage company, has inaugurated its first ground-up cold storage facility in Mexico.
Located in Ciénega de Flores near Monterrey, the facility can store 23,000 pallets within a 150,000 m³ space.
The new facility is expected to create around 80 direct and 250 indirect jobs, benefiting Nuevo León's economy.
According to Juan Pablo BenÃtez, the company's Managing Director for Mexico, the facility aims to meet growing demand from food producers and retailers, offering strategic storage and distribution services backed by a robust transportation network.
Emergent Cold LatAm operates 35 multi-temperature warehouses across five Mexican states.

Tasman Logistics Services triples cold storage capacity with new Queensland facility Tasman Logistics Services Cold Chain Solutions has launched a new cold storage facility in Morningside, Queensland, tripling its storage capacity to accommodate 7,400 frozen pallets and 1,300 chilled pallets.
The Cold Chain Solutions division, launched in July 2024, provides comprehensive services for temperature-sensitive products, including advanced technology, secure storage, continuous monitoring, transportation, customs clearance, and product management.
The new facility, which began operations in December, features four loading docks, modern office space, and state-of-the-art racking systems.
